Crystal Stevens McElrath is an attorney at Swift Currie McGhee & Hiers, LLP. Her vocational calling is to empower for profit and not for profit employers to carry out their missions by providing legal counsel in the areas of workers compensation and employment law. She frequently publishes papers and presents to employers, insurers, and third-party administrators on the practical aspects of these claims. Ms. McElrath received her J.D. and Master of Theological Studies from Emory University. While in law school, she clerked for the Honorable Stanley Birch, Jr., on the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the Honorable William Duffey, on the Northern District of Georgia. Ms. McElrath received her B.A. from the University of Virginia and a certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke University. She has served on three Boards of Directors, and currently sits on the Board of a 501(c)(3) that assists other non-profits in organizational, financial and compelling story development.
